My friends came over the other day, you know them as @veroqbc & @sociallyflyy on twitter to get Vero's makeup done for a photoshoot featuring @flixbda1. Vero was having it done for her website http://www.queenbchronicles.com and upcoming events.

I decided to keep her eyes light since she was pairing it with her red lip. She's gorgeous and doesn't need much makeup & plus since she was wearing a red lip. I will have to get her products she used to post here later but she looked great! After I was done, Charlese wanted hers done too and I was more than willing! I loveeee to do makeup and it's always nice to have people come by and just enjoy the time.... when I do have time lol. I wish I could do this more but it's hard to do when your doing graphics as well. I was just happy to have them happy and really enjoy the pigment colors in the sunlight.

I thought I would share some of these looks I put together quickly with a few shots. I might do both these looks for upcoming youtube tutorials too. I really like how they came out. I do wish my camera picked up these colors a lot better but.. what ya gonna do? lol anyways, I used Wet & Wild palettes on both girls with a combination of Heavenly Naturals. I think these two work so well together and are my favorite to work with just like these girls! :D Check it out and let know what you think!

Vero's Look:
I used the Terra Cotta color from the Greed Palette to smooth out the brow bone. Single eyeshadow Brulee for her brow highlight. Combination of the Dark blues in the Pride palette on the lower lashline. I did a mixture of purples from the Sugar Plum Fairy palette & the dark blues again in her outer v. Middle lid is Heavenly Naturals in Etheral. Tear ducts is the lightest creme in the Golden Goddess palette. Top lid tear duct is Heavenly Naturals Color in Opal right over that light cream in the tear ducts only to bring out that purple iridescence. Motives Dark Brown pencil top liner. HIP eyeliner in Blue Spark in the waterline. Jordana pencil in Coffee Bean to fill in her brows a bit. Heavenly Naturals Blush in Blushing 14. For concealer I used my wonderful Graftobian Hi-Def Glamour Creme to conceal under eye & balance skin tone. She doesn't use much liquid so I used a small dime sized drop of liquid Revlon Colorstay in True Beige with a MAC 187 for the photos & set with some of her Bare Escentuals Face Powder. Vero lipstick and liner were provided by her and I will fill in later!

Charlese's Look:
I used a mixture of Wet & Wild and HN again. I used the Terra Cotta color from the Greed Palette to smooth out the brow bone. I took the white from the Sugar Plum Fairy palette for her brow highlight. Heavenly Naturals in Opal on her brow bone over that Greed terra cotta color & blended over that crease and also in the tear ducts. Urban Decay 24/7 Zero liner in her waterline and blended out on her lower lashline. I used the silver from the Night Elf palette on her middle lid. To darken her crease & outer V I used the dark Grey from the Lust palette. In her crease to bring up the purple I took the purple from the Sugar Plum Fairy palette & also a tad of the sparkly dark burgundy. Heavenly Naturals Blush in Blushing 10. For concealer I used my wonderful Graftobian Hi-Def Glamour Creme to conceal under eye & balance skin tone. Lips just a tad of Graftobian Hi-Def LipColor super palette #88292 Nude.

Wet & Wild New 3 Pan Trio Eyeshadow Palettes & Swatches!

Tulio has done it again lol he found the new 8 pan eyeshadow palettes & also picked up these new 3 pan eyeshadow palettes for me as well. I love that man!! He said it was a struggle but once you see them, get them!! I'm serious.. buy them because they are worth the price & the hunting you might need to do.

Each palette is set with 3 eyeshadows ranging in sparkle, lustre and matte. Each shadow is so pigmented you don't need much to make them go a long way. I can't even express how Wet & Wild has stepped up with the formulas on their eyeshadows. Out of all the drugstore eyeshadows I've tried.. I must say Wet & Wild has taken the cake. Not to say that there isn't great eyeshadows at the drugstore.. but these are the best by far. You get exceptional product for such a affordable price, you are almost shocked. I highly recommend these as well as the 6 & 8 palettes they sell. You really can't lose with any of these eyeshadow palettes.

Again, I recommend staying in touch with your local Walgreens. You can call and ask when shipments come in and most say that it takes up to 24 hrs for the product to hit shelves. Go ahead and ask and they will be happy to help! I also would try a Walgreens out of the way from busy areas, we go to one kind of in a quite neighborhood. Shout out to the Walgreens on Bird Ave in San Jose and the two Ladies who took the time to help search but didn't have. It's hard to find people willing to take the time to look these days. So thank you!!

Swatches & Eyeshadow Palettes

Spoiled brat is perfect for those nights out on the town. This trio is gorgeous and my favorite. The pink is so close in color to Ben Nye's "Azalea". The black sparkle eyeshadow is the perfect touch for a glitzy look.

Silent Treatment is beautiful in person!! the sparkly brown is beautiful in person and the brow bone color is perrrrfect to blend out any harsh line. The lid color is also great for a sexy day time lustre.

I Dream of Greenie is awesome for spring time! I can't wait to rock these greens and the sparkly lime green is my favorite out of the bunch. Pair this with a hot pink lip & you are set!

I'm Getting Sunburned is fantastic!! This is one of my favorites not cause of the beautiful deep sparkly brown or the lovely pink but of the GOLD!!! I LOVEEEE GOLD!!! Hahahaha This gold is so pigmented and paired up with a neapolitan color scheme. This is a must get!

I Got Good Jeans is for sure!! You can do a sexy smokey eye for those days out with friends shopping or take into night time to pair up with a sexy navy dress. This dark blue is worth spending the $3 dollars on this palette. I'm a sucker for all types of blues and it's gorgeous!!!

I wanted this palette as soon as I saw it. It was the one I was most looking forward too.. unfortunately the colors come off a bit sheer. They are very beautiful but this one was the only one you will need to pack on the color. Kinda sucky cause I was looking forward to these bright bold colors. The most pigmented is the blueish green and it's gorgeous. I will still rock this one, but was the least liked out of the bunch.

Wet & Wild Cosmetics New 8 Pan Eyeshadow Palettes!!

I don't know about you but I was so excited to hear about the new 8 pan palettes from Wet & Wild. I've been using Wet & Wild for years! even dating myself with the 666 lip pencil my sisters and I always rocked, it was the perfect roseish pink brown. After loving the Holiday palettes I knew I had to search for these new 8 pan palettes.

Tulio the awesome man fiance' best friend ever found these for me after weeks of searching for them. He found the Holiday palettes for me too and I just love him for it! I appreciate him supporting my likes and shows he really listens. The lady told him that most Walgreens get shipments on Wed-Thursday and it usually takes up 24 hrs to put the delivery on the shelf. Just to let you guys know if you are also on the hunt!

I recommend these over and over and have been pleased with every color icon palette that Wet & Wild has come out with. Each shadow is incredible, affordable, so easy to blend and so pigmented. I don't know who they hired or who is doing the products for them now .. but these eyeshadows are amazing!! I have high end makeup and never touch it..these have definitely are a everyday thing for me now. The colors in the palette are so blendable and pigmented you don't even need a primer to make them show up. I can't even tell you how soft and little you need for them to show up. You will have these for a long time but if you use them as much as me ... lol you might need two of each. ;)

I took a few pictures of the packaging, the eyeshadows and swatches. (Swatches are over base, but does not effect the pigmentation at all)

This is my favorite palette. Quite surprising because I'm totally not a neutral person but these shadows are gorgeous! I wish my camera could pick up on the awesomeness cause this palette was worth the hunt. Tulio said this was his favorite as well. Most of these colors are dupes for MAC eyeshadows but I can say way better.. way... way better. Now I might be shot for saying that but I don't care. You barely have to touch these shadows to make them work.

This is my second favorite palette, I love these colors and I want to do some wedding looks featuring this palette. I'm getting married next year and our colors are purple and these colors are just soooo gorgeous and I can't wait to try this palette. I got them today and tomorrow I'm doing a look with them right away. I can't can't wait. I have so many ideas for this palette, and this is gorgeous to take from day time to night time in one palette. Wet & Wild really thought about the design of these eyeshadows and I'm quite impressed.

BLUES & TURQUOISE! my favorites!! I love this palette too. The turquoise is gorgeeeeeeeous! I love colors like this and I was so excited and this was the first palette I grabbed. Just seeing it in person just pops! I can't wait to use this one too and do a tutorial. I do have one thing to say.. I do wish there was more darker blues, because the third blue in from the left comes off a bit black. Other than that.. it's a gorgeous palette to use for a hot smokey night look.

I can't wait to do tutorials using these for YouTube, I hope you guys can find them at your local Walgreens to do the looks with me. They are worth the wait and search!! If you find all three, get them! you never know when you will see them again and you'll regret not pickin' up these awesome palettes. Remember to call your local Walgreens about shipments and some might put some aside for you if you ask? Happy Hunting!

A Burgundy Valentine's Day Look

Happy Valentine's Day you guys!! I know people say "Boo Valentine's Day!! You should show people everyday you love them. blah blah blah" Yes.. we all know this. However, you should still just take the time to spend some extra extra love on a holiday for our loved ones. In the end it's all about love! so celebrate the people you love... we got a special holiday for it.

You should be supportive, loving, understanding, appreciative to the people you love everyday. Life is short and people you love can go with a simple breath. I've lost some family members last year and it has pushed me to value life even more and the people in it. Where the Heck.. I've been!

SORRY I've been M.I.A!!

I have been working like a mad woman and usually around this holiday time a lot of people are calling for flyers & advertising. I run a Graphic Design business with Tulio my fiance' and we do this in breaks while I'm not working on iPad books.

I've also had some hard family stuff come up and we are trying to be there for my Grandma as much as possible. I cannot fathom how she can feel right now, watching her friends die & then deal with her Dementia. She was just diagnosed and didn't take it well... then a few days later her best friend of years died. It was very emotional. It's a tough time, and honestly family is first.

I hope you guys can just hang in there.. I've been missing blogging & doing videos. I have one almost done & another I want to record, so hopefully this week you will be seeing something by me.

I really do hope you guys are all doing well & are in good health. Remember to tell the people you love.. that you love them. You really NEVER know when they will be gone..

As some of you know or don't know what I do for work. I am a Graphic Designer/Illustrator/ Animator. I run a company with my fiance' Tulio named Dataroom5 Design and I also am currently working for UnicornLabs.com. Most of you have noticed I haven't uploaded any videos as of late. I apologize but work always comes before play. I do makeup for fun, but Illustrating is my dream. I hope you understand. :)

I have written before on my blog that I illustrated a iPad/iPod/iPhone App called "Turtle and Rabbit's Amazing Race" a few months ago. Well the book went great and is a "(a perennial Top 20 iPad Book)" They wanted to start on another book right away featuring great illustrations again, with awesome sounds and a great moral story."BOY! A Wolf's Tale" was created and was recently approved by Apple! Note this isn't just for kids, it's fun for the whole family! It's a truely a great story.

I had a awesome time again designing this book and they say a artist shouldn't have favorites.. but this one was my favorite to design. I truly had fun with the different night camping scenes to the joking & the color spectrum I love it all. I hope you check it out, I put in some hard work on this bad boy.. and truly am proud of the little group we got over at Unicorn Labs. I'm very blessed to be around such creative people!

A Holiday Look feat. Wet & Wild Cosmetics

I have been dying to use my new Wet & Wild Holiday palettes but since I've been working so much I haven't had the chance. This past weekend my family wanted to go get our Christmas tree and I wanted a cute holiday look to wear out.

I pulled out "Night Elf & Snow Sprite" which were the two I wanted to use the most. I have a thing for dramatic looks ;) Anyway, I loved how this came out, it was super Christmasssy and Tulio loved the red lip. The crease and red didn't come out to harsh so I think anyone can really rock this look. It's a very sexy smokey eye and the Green/Brown eyeshadow in the "Night Elf" palette is a awesome dupe for MAC's Club eyeshadow. I might even think it's better. I barely have to touch it to pick it up on my brush.

I've been loving Wet & Wild lately, and I think more people need to give them a chance again. Seriously, I think it's catching on cause people have trouble finding these holiday palettes all over the place!! I hope they continue to come out with holiday palettes, I have been loving the colors and who needs MAC when you have something way affordable and more pigmented!!

Love Story Collection by Heavenly Natural Beauty (Review & Swatches)

UGH! I can't wait to get a better camera. I say this because the photos clearly don't show the beauty of each of these pigments. I really can't wait to show the real colors in a YouTube tutorial. I couldn't wait to try this gorgeous collection once Rene' told me about it and I was honored for her to send me both parts for review and swatches. She also said to always provide a honest review since it's great to hear feed back. I love that because constructive criticism makes people grow.

You will probably see me doing a lot more YouTube tutorials coming up in the future using these. I know not everyone has these, but seriously once I find a product I love & is easy to use.. I use it often. I always rave about Heavenly Naturals since I found the company a few years ago. I'm always impressed with Rene's pigments and affordability. I'm always the kind of girl who wants more for less and really when I drop $50 dollars I get amazing amount of products.

I was still loving her latest collections (Peacock & Iridescence) Look forward to tuts with those too! This new collection is just as worth it. Each color is so gorgeous and original. It's not flat like some colors you can buy. Flat colors are great but I love original multi-dimensional pigments. Take for instance "Captured", when I first saw the color in the jar it looks GREEN! but really it comes off green-purple and is amazzzzing!! Tulio loves color just as much as I do, since we are both artists and he loves to paint. I love to show him pigments when they come in to compare. Each time he always says "Rene's pigments are the best colors you've got" and he's right. Seriously.. awesome product and originality. That means a lot in a market with all the same products.

I really can't say anything bad about these pigments. Each jar comes individually plastic wrapped for safety. There is a stiffer and sticker stopper on the stiffer to stop fallout. Jars are clear to see each pigment color clearly. She also placed the name & ingredients on each of the jar lids. There isn't any mattes in this collection, and I figured so with the name being "Love Story" .. you gotta have glittery colors! Each color is extremely blendable and easy to apply. You won't have any issue pairing up any of these colors together. As you can see from a few of my looks posted I combined each parts of the collections and they look amazing! you can really come up with some awesome color combos, just as original as her pigments.

I highly suggest you check out these collections and her previous collections to this for the Holiday's. They are affordable, long lasting, original, amazing and you get tons of product even in the samples!

Magnolia Makeup Review & Swatches

UM HELLO!!!! Tell me that Tia's eye color combo's are not the bomb!?! When I saw her colors I was so amazed by her talent but also the bright colors she used. I highly suggest saving Magnolia Makeup via Facebook. I always look forward to her posts and find her creativity refreshing. I've picked some of my favorites to show you, but really go and check out their page and be inspired!

I was contacted by Magnolia Makeup owners, Niala & Tia. They offered me to try a colorful cosmetics line out of New Orleans. These two sisters started the company after being frustrated by not finding colors in the market that were just not pigmented enough. This new company is impressive. Starting about a year ago, they have a clean and beautiful website. They also provide easy shopping and wonderful choices. Magnolia Makeup right out of New Orleans provides what I love... COLOR!!

I can say... I can't tell you how much I can relate to the sisters. Nothing is more frustrating than spending your hard earned money on a crappy product. I will not. That's why I take pride in my reviews, and take time to review each product. Let's just say I've learned to research before purchases a lot more lol.

It's also great to find a company to provide colors that are right up my alley. I've been contacted before by companies and there are many that don't provide the color I love to rock.

My Overall Review:

The pigments are gorgeous! I loveeee bright colors. OVER and over. I was so excited to receive these colors! They were blendable, pigmented and very true to color. I've seen some gorgeous pigments but then you try them and they fall flat. These hold up all day and pair up beautifully. Whoever chose the color combo's in the color wheel needs a raise! lol I loved the colors included and you can come up with endless color combos. It would make a great gift to give to send to someone who would love to experiment with color.

The logo is clean, and the packaging is cute. The website is very clean. As a customer it should be easy to go in, find what you need and make a purchase. That's what http://www.magnolia-makeup.com/ is all about. You will not have a hard time here. You can find a range of makeup providing blush, lipslicks, pigments, foundations and glitter!! I love glitter!! lol

One complaint is that you are getting 7 pigments for $17.00 whereas I can get 15 pigments for $14.99 at some other mineral companies. However, MAC sells pigments for $19.50 so really it's a great deal either way.

The colors I got were mostly matte pigments, so if you are iffy about using matte pigments these might not be for you. Applying matte pigments can be tricky, and a lot of them skip in color. I didn't have trouble with these pigments but you do have to apply by packing them with your brush. Using a fluffy brush can make the matte color fade in some areas.

These colors I just loved! Mostly cause I'm a blue, green, teal, turquoise kinda gal. I loved these colors!! I used these for a few weeks and have been loving the color combos I've been coming up with.

The glitter is my favo!! but who doesn't love glitter? You get a pretty good amount in a 10 gram jar. It's not filled to the top but for 5 bucks it isn't bad. I loved adding it when I went out with friends and it just was such a beautiful shade of purple.

I recorded this tutorial a few weeks ago but have been so buzy with work that I couldn't get to edit it. Sorry I've been gone, the new iPad book I've been illustrating has a end of the month deadline which is supppper important!

Anyway, I wore this recently to the MAC Villain's event in SF and also IMATS of last year. I always get compliments when I wear these colors and this look is not for the weak! It's very bright but it's also really beautiful when it blends all together. Heavenly Naturals has the best matte pigments I've used .. so blending them really is a dream. I don't have to much trouble getting the color to spread evenly. Sometimes working with matte pigments can be hell!

Dollar Tree Fun & Finds!

I thought I would do some quick videos at what you can find by visiting your closest Dollar Tree for some great bargains. I hope you like the finds & fun!

So we started our Saturday first going to eat at Ana's Cafe on Toyon Ave. It's on the other side of San Jose, but we don't care lol. The food is always fresh, delicious and the flour tortillas are homemade. I love going for the Chorizo, eggs & papas. The chorizo (sausage) is mixed in with egg. It's freakin' fabulous.. if you've never had it.. GET IT. But I recommend getting it there!

We used to like to go to Casa Vicky's downtown but they really have fallen off. Plus no matter how many times I tell them NO BEANS, they always put them in my food. Come on.. really? always happens! lol. Anyway.. on to walmart. Here you see can Tulio and my moms head lol. You can hear her screamin' to tell my Grandma to put on the Handicap parking card.

We decided on going to Walmart that Saturday since my mother needed to pick up a few things and I needed stuff for our trip. The first thing I needed was to find a couple of affordable cute shirts for my trip. Of course the Walmart Plus sized section there was nothing to pick from. Honestly, if I ever become a billionaire I'm starting a affordable Plus sized clothing store that doesn't make you look like a mom or a goth girl for $50 bucks a shirt. I'm tired of them hating on the big girls!

I did find this really cool hat that Tulio ended up wearing to Disneyland California Adventure! He loves movies and comic art so this was right up our alley. The colors are awesome too!

Here's the picture I promised! This was at California Adventure after a rainy day! His hat got wet but the material made it dry off super fast! he loved it! A lot of people commented on his hat at the park that day too!

I see that there is a Dollar Tree right next door so Tulio and I walked over to see some good finds. So we arrive at Dollar Tree! Milpitas, McCarthy Ranch has a very clean and well stocked store.

It's funny how I say it's clean and you can see I walk into a thousands of boxes in the front of the store lol. I don't blame them. At least they were movin' it on out and stocked up the aisles on what I needed lol. Still the store was in great shape. I've been to many a Dollar store and I can tell you one thing, Dollar stores are not known for clean aisles lol.. you can put Ross stores into that as well.

I LOVED the selection they had at this Dollar Tree! They had lip glosses to blushes to lipstick to nail polish. It was great!! Most of the items I've previously bought or tried sooo I tried to keep it minimal to things I really wanted to try. Take a look at the great selection!

After looking around for items I had my small haul! I wanted to try out the LA Colors Nail polishes (which I LOVE!) and the Maybelline Bronzer & Blush. I haven't tried the lip pencil & lipgloss as of yet. Though the razors I got were great. I love them for a quick brow edging. I haven't used the LA Colors jumbo all over stick yet either. I was happy with my small haul, and who says you can't get great products for a dollar!?

Graftobian HD Lip Color "Super Palette #30248" Swatches & Review

After my awesome experience buying from Camerareadycosmetics.com I had to write to them and let them know the pleasant experience. I had to give them a shout out in my video because I could not believe the time, price & great customer service I had buying from them. It was just what I needed after the customer service HELL I had to deal with Yaby cosmetics. It was great to deal with a company that really cared about their customers. This is not the first time I heard great things about Camera Ready Cosmetics.

They wrote to me back and said they appreciated my letter/video & wanted to send me a Graftobian lip palette to say thank you for my shout out and support! I spent over $450 dollars with Yaby, had to wait over 2 months for my products and I never received anything for my wait & their horrible customer service. I compliment Camera Ready Cosmetics spend 75% less with my purchases and they send me a free lip palette! I don't know about you but that's great customer service.

I told them it would be awesome to review the product, but keep it honest as well. Just because I get something free doesn't mean it's good! Right? Plus, ya'll would have my neck haha.

My Review

I have been using this palette on and off since I received it. I like to use the product for awhile before I can clearly give a full honest review.

I love love love the colors in this palette. I have used on friends of all colors and myself and love how each shade plays with a person's skin tone. I had no issues applying this on myself or others. I've used with multiple looks and really love the long wear of the shade. Of course placing a lip liner makes the lipstick stay longer, so I tried with and without. Both times I was astonished at the wear. It did come off mostly when I drank or ate, but I expected that since this is a professional lip palette meant for photo shoots & film.

The shades are gorgeous but I love the pigmentation. You only need a bit on your lip brush and it just glides right onto the lip. The amount of product you get in the pan is great. I'm really pleased it wasn't the size of a dime lol. My only gripe was I was wish it came with a lip brush. :/ I mean really Graftobian? I guess they are thinking a MUA will buy this and already have a lip brush in their kit. I just think it would be nice to include a cheapo one for people who don't normally wear lip colors applied with a brush.

I really like the names & numbers assigned to the palette. I find it's very hard to share looks or remember what I used for a look with a palette with no names/numbers. I LOVE how the diagram is easy to follow in the back with each of the names/number printed clearly. Each shade is available to be reordered if you do hit pan! All you have to do is give the # number and they send you a full sized lipstick. That's awesome for you MUA's out there!

I also like the look and feel of the black shiny palette. It's super sleek but durable. I feel like if I drop it a few times it won't come loose. I love that there is a big mirror included that can also be used for a mixing area if you want to combine lip colors.

Would I buy more products from Graftobian? Hell yes! I'm super impressed and really enjoy this palette. The concealer palette is next on my list since I've seen MakeupbyRenRen Review it awhile ago. I know it has to be awesome.. because this is just a lip palette & I'm loving it!

Again this is just my opinion.. but I really think that if you are looking for an affordable lip palette for your MUA kit or like me.. wear make up daily, I would definitely invest in this! This is a gorgeous palette any MUA or makeup lover would love to have. I'm really pleased with this palette and look forward to tutorials in the future using these gorgeous shades!

MAC VILLAINS SF EVENT

I was recently invited to check out the MAC Villains Event in SF at the MACY'S counter by l1lmamaj on twitter. If you don't know her.. well.. you should!! Find her gorgeous looks and blog at : http://www.l1lmamaj.blogspot.com/ She has this gorgeous elegance about her. UGH! Even in person she's flawless!

So she mentioned it would be cool to bring a few friends. I asked my two girlfriends if they wanted to go & Tulio was down to document! I went with Nicole (The one who recently got mentioned in my Hawaiian Flower Inspired Look video) and Athena (Where I've featured in many looks on my blog). So we decided to trek up to San Francisco on that Saturday.

The girls met at my house and we were on our way! We were super excited (just to get out together lol) and have some fun & buy makeup. We decided to eat dinner up in the city and opted for Mel's Diner. It was hella good. Bad thing, we were stuffed. I think we all pushed the limits.. but that wasn't the bad part lol. So we pay our tab and we are early to our time to meet up with Jen aka l1lmamaj.

We decide to walk. Athena girl had her gps out on her phone and was guidin' us to the light!! lol. However, 20 minutes walking in... we started questioning what direction we were going. Not gewt. Tulio decides to go into a coffee shop and ask where the eff we were lol. Tulio comes back to tell us we are 6-7 blocks away from MACY'S!! If you've been in downtown Frisco you know a block is like 651684351368531385 million square feet. lol Seriously.

On our way there we spotted this cool half trolley!!

Sooooo there went my hair, windy as hell.. .sweaty.. and bloated from dinner we trek our way back to where we started. Come to find out we were only 2 blocks from the restaurant! sigh.. just our luck right? lol anyway, we had fun lookin' at the weirdo's and working off the meal.

We finally get to MACY'S!! and automatically see a cardboard set up for Dr. Facilier! Of course being the dorks we were.. had to get photo time in.. (as you can see below lol)

There was awesome displays all over the place!

We then moved on to see part of the collection and wait for l1lmamaj to get done at the cashier.
It was great to see the some of the colors in person, but hmmm a lot was missing! Shouldn't a company as big as MAC have these in stock? Wouldn't they assume that this would be a huge collection like Hello Kitty? If not, I suggest they get some better workers to understand the makeup business. Because this isn't the first time they have sold out of products on a collection.

Come to find out, a lot was sold out.. which I knew would happen. The good thing was that the lipglasses I wanted were in stock. I was also there to spend most of my money on face products like concealer, foundation and powder. My friend Athena picked up a few items below. This is our collective Haul. More of her Haul than mine lol. I just got two lipglasses in "Strange Potion" & "Hot House".

It was really neat to finally meet another Bay Area makeup lover like Jen. She was super nice and helpful in finding a good shade for my skin.

It was also cool to notice that Aprilj0 from YouTube worked there as well! I noticed her and asked if it was her, and she was like "Yes!" She was suppper cool and I asked if I could take a picture with her. I lovvve her paintings and her color combos on YouTube so it was awesome to meet in person. Even though they were out of a lot, I left super happy! My friends and I enjoyed posing in all of the movie Disney Villains Sets they had through out MACY'S as well.

Neon Playdoh Inspired Look feat Yaby Cosmetics

I was recently inspired by this cool shirt I love that I got from Walmart. I got it to wear something relaxing on my way to LA on the plane. I used to LOVE Playdoh as a kid and had to scoop this shirt up!

It's actually a sleeper shirt but I made it into a t-shirt. I love neon colors so I had to set of the shirt with some matching Lids! I used Mehron as well, and they are great for bases. I highly recommend them, because the color base is amazing. The shadows are vibrant enough but the Mehron just lifts that color like 50 percent. I highly recommend using Mehron for lid liner as well and other face painting needs. They are a great investment if you wear makeup everyday like I do.

Disneyland Vacation Time!

Hey guys, I'm leaving out of town for a much needed Vacay!! After bustin' my butt on illustrations for my last work.. I needed to treat myself. Our iPad book app is now #9 in top free iPad books!! That is so awesome and I feel like I accomplished so much to bring to the next project. My dreams have come true!!

So... My friends and I were like "Hey, we should go to Disneyland!" I was like hell yeah! Perfect timing, since it's also my birthday! yay! So off I go to LA.

African Sahara Inspired Look feat. NYX Cosmetics

I got some Ardell false eyelashes to try out. I recently wore them to a wedding and loved how they came out. So since, I've had a lot of requests to try falsies in a video.. I thought hmm I'll wear them for this look.

Although.. it didn't end up that way haha I had already applied my left eyelash when I went to go record my tutorial. As I was setting up for the tutorial, I noticed my other eyelash was missing!! OMG, Tulio and I spent like 20 minutes lookin' for this damn eyelash! Needless to say, I couldn't find it. So thank goodness I had a pair of dollar lashes I have had for awhile. It worked out, even though really you can't tell I'm wearing them lol but hey, I felt fancy ;D

Sigma Angled Liner Review

I recently was contacted by Sigma to have the chance to try out a brush of my choice for review. I already have quite a few Sigma brushes, but was in need of a new angled liner. I love the Sigma brushes I already have and couldn't wait to try out this liner.

I was in desperate need of a new angled liner! If you've seen my beginning YouTube tutorials, you'll see my old, worn out Coastal Scents angled liner lol. That brush did me good!! I had it for years, it was on it's last legs but still performed. I got it on a brush roll sale and glad I did. I want to pour one out to the homie and say .. R.I.P. CS angled liner!!.. thank you for always havin' my brows back and makin' sure my brows were in perfect line. *tear* lol. But it was time to move on.. and have a great alternative.

I really like the brush. It might be pink, but I'm girly so things like that don't matter lol. The bristles are stiff, but not abrasive. The handle and where the metal connection (that holds the bristles) are joined really well. I've tugged on it several times and seems very firm. I don't think you'll have issues with it disconnecting like some brushes. I've had no brush shed which I know some people have complained about Sigma brushes doing. However, the only brush I've experienced excessive shedding is the short handled E40 formally the ss224. I use that brush for my concealer and have a lot of fall out. Then again, I have several MAC brushes that shed too. I think for this price of $9.00 for a hand made brush is awesome. Compared to MAC's small angled brush that goes for $20.00. I don't know about you... but the $9.00 looks a lot better to me lol.

I've been really pleased with the performance of the brush. It drags my brow color through my brows really well. It also provides a sharp line and precision. The handle isn't too thick so I feel like I can have a lighter hand to drag the color.. thus makin' my brows look more natural. I've washed it a few times already and experienced no fall out or coloring coming from the brush when washed. The brush also did not have any weird smell attached. I know getting brushes from warehouses can stink.. so I'm glad this wasn't one of them.

Anyway, I've really enjoyed my new brush. It's got my eyebrows back! lol. Also, Thank you Sigma for this opportunity to give an honest review on your product. Heavenly Greens & Golds feat. Heavenly Naturals

Teal & Dark Blue Smokey Eye feat. Jesse's Girl & ELF Cosmetics

I wanted to do a look using Jesse's Girl Cosmetics. I've always been a fan, and a few years ago I had the chance to try a few of their pigments that were sent to me. I already had many but it was a great opportunity to try some great colors.

I did a blog review on queenbchronicle.com but it was erased unfortunately, with a lot of my old blog entries. :( It was a total bummer. However, I will soon do more looks featuring these great products in up coming videos! But for now I will show you a look done with products I purchased recently.

New to my arsenal of Jesse's Girl eye dusts was "Kiwi Rose" I LOVE this color. I can't even tell you how beautiful it looks in person. I mean in all honesty each of these Jesse's Girl eye dusts are vibrant and sooo highly pigmented it's amazing what kind of quality you get. I have 100% satisfaction on using these pigments in comparison to MAC pigments. I have a few MAC pigments and a few are very questionable for how much you pay.

Jesse's Girl is a great drugstore find. If you can't find it.. I provided a link below where you can purchase online. Again, I highly stand by these affordable eye dusts that will last forever. Seriously, these colors go on forever and you'll see by this video I only need a tad to go a long way.

Turtle and Rabbit's Amazing Race iPad Book App!

As some of you know I work professionally as a Graphic Designer along side my Tulio. Him and I own a Graphic Design company but recently I had the opportunity to put my work aside to do an amazing project.

I used to work with a man named Ali (go fig lol) and he was a talented web architect. We both worked for my Aunt's internet company she had for years before she passed. After the company went down he started his own, and came up with a great idea. Aka "Me.com" for Apple. Yes, Apple. lol He got in contact with me to create a iPad book for children. It was a awesome opportunity I couldn't pass up.

For the past months I have been working night after night drawing and redrawing lol to finally come out with a beautiful & bright piece. As most of you know, I love color! It was only right to add my touch ;D I still can't believe I illustrated the whole book! Today after months of hard work.. the illustrated book was approved by Apple in it's first run! No glitches, no re-do, just straight to the presses.

Today was a huge awesome ending to a experience I will always remember and will take with me. This was fun, challenging, hard, easy, stressful, non-stressful, funny, project. I'm glad that my parents have instilled in me that doing what makes you happy... makes you happy. They have always wanted me to pursue my art and have always supported me in any type of creative hands-on experience I could have. I hope everyone learns to just go for what they want to do.

I was also supported by a crew of awesome people to work with. Debbie the writer is so talented and funny.. so easy to work with and I love her. I couldn't picture anyone writing the book like she did. Jeff "the sound guy" who has worked in the past for Disney and other great companies has finished the book off with an amazing touch! The sounds just bring the book to another level. Armin put together the game with awesome animation and added life to the page. Tulio, for always providing me with support and fixing a text issue we had which saved everyone lol. Our two bosses Ali Mostoufi and Mark Sigal aka http://thenetworkgarden.blogs.com/ provided great knowledge and advice through out the product.

I look forward to showing you the next book which I'm soooo excited for. I can't even tell you. It's gonna be funny, and a cute twist on a old story. Thank you for being with me on this journey. I appreciate all the support. It feels good to know others can be happy for someone doing what they love. So thank you. <3>

Hi guys!

As some of you know, and have been noticing .. I haven't been around much. I have the biggest opportunity ever to display my true love... my art with the world.

I have been dreaming of displaying my cartoons and having people respond to them and find them amusing. This opportunity is just a beginning to some thing really big, and I have huge faith in. I really can't wait to show you all what I have been working on.

I have a lot riding on me and this is a huge task at hand. The pressure is good, and honestly.. drawing everyday has filled my life back to when I was a kid. Since I was small I have always drawn.. so this opportunity is big!

I am not saying goodbye, but I'm not sure when I will be able to post for the next few months. I do however, plan on going to IMATS!! so if you are there I would love to meet you! I will try from time to time to update, but I find that to be 10% true. I hope you understand.

The other day I had no idea on what to do. I feel lately I've lost my creative touch on ideas for looks. Not that I'm complaining.. just in a rut so to say lol. So I decided to head over to youtube for inspiration. Brilliantbrnette on youtube had a look I wanted to retry.

I didn't have the gold flakes she added on the lid so, I decided go with the look as is. I also forgot her black eyeliner (I was tired!! lol)

Green Gold for St. Patrick's Day

I hope everyone has a nice holiday, and remembers to be safe! It's almost the weekend and hope everyone has a little bit of somethin' green to celebrate ;D

I promised to post another look, and at 4am I did this look. LOL Not bad for 4am I might say. Of course the pictures could have been better (in a rut) but I decided to pull myself out of it, and just have fun.

YES, don't adjust your screens! I am wearing neutrals!.. almost. LOL I decided to keep it semi neutral and decided to go with some gold I haven't worn in awhile. I am dying to do another gold and teal look, but I'm sure you are all tired of me using teal lmao.

I hope you like this simple look. I find Prestige one of my favorite drug store brands to buy from. Their shadows are extremely soft and pigmented and work extremely well. I don't have to say anything for Bitch Slap's pigments because they speak for themselves. :) really really gorgeous.

Splash of Color by Beauty from the Earth & Heavenly Naturals

I've done another version of this look with these gorgeous shades from Beauty from the Earth. I just wanted to show that you can do multiple styles of looks but with the same colors. This time around I decided to add a little purple. I also chose to keep the yellow in the tear ducts and not on the lid like last time.

I wanted to go a lil Diva with it ;) and bring out the wow. I think Diva by Heavenly Naturals is one of my top 10 favorite colors from her line. I have two of them lol. I wish the camera didn't flush out the color so much because you are missin' the true vibrancy.

This look is fairly simple, only using really 2 colors not counting the brow highlight. So it works well doing this look for when you have no time. Anyway, I hope you like..

Pink Valentine's Day Look

Hey loves!! I made a quick pink smokey eye for you in time for Vday. I know there are 6565496565325181365 videos on youtube right now for tutorials lol so I decided to keep it sweet and simple.

I really love this "Heart Breaker" pigment by HN. It's so gorgeous in person. It looks flat and white on the pictures.. but in person the duo chrome is fabulous. It's a light pinkish/sparkle/iridescent color and very original. I don't think I have a color close to this. It really is beautiful in the sun.

Again, I'm using Sigma Makeup eyeshadow in "Indian Girl". I really do love this color it works with everything and just like MAC eyeshadow "Satin Taupe" it's perfect for smokey eyes.

I hope to do some more looks and do this live Thursday night for all of you! Please let me know your thoughts!

On our way out to have some good dancing fun, my friend Athena asked if I had any blue green eyeshadow to match the earrings we designed! I sure did!! I love Ben Nye's eyeshadow and Turquoise is my total favorite, so I knew I had to use it on her. She also wanted it to be bit of a smokey eye, so I threw in my favorite versatile eyeshadow in "Indian Girl."

I did this super fast and I think she looks soo beautiful with these colors. My friend was poppin'! I also loved the cute flower she was sportin' as well. Please let me know what you guys think! Thanks guys.

I wanted to create a super fast look keeping it natural with a pop of color. I am wearing no eyeshadow on my eye lid only on my lower lashline. I have my lid prepped with concealer and a lil bit of Too Faced Shadow Insurance, just to keep a soft base and even color on the lid.

There are a lot of people who look for super fast looks and literally I did this in 5 minutes. Don't feel afraid to use a bright color on your lower lashline. I think it looks beautiful and can really pull your look together. Play up your regular days with some color! I hope you enjoy.

Okay let me just say, about %10 percent of mineral pigments that are Matte suck for me lol. Seriously, nothing I do can make matte pigments look good on the lid or crease. I can work it with shadows, but for some reason matte pigments are kinda tricky.

But the night before trying this look I decided to do a pre-run with Beauty from the Earth's "Sweet Nibblets." Honesty, guys this was the easiest matte pigment I've used in awhile. I was so surprised to feel how silky the matte pigment felt as it went on. It really showed up beautiful and I am quite impressed.

I was again inspired by what I wear. As most of you know I love to be inspired by many things including what fashion I seem to be wearing. I hope you like!

I got this shirt on clearance at Target, yes clearance lol. I am a bargain shopper ya'll! Anyway, Tulio loved the pattern on this shirt and wanted to see me use it for inspiration. This is what I came up with.

I wanted to use inexpensive items so you can keep cost down but still have a great look! I really loved these colors by Exposed Organics. They really showed beautiful and I got several compliments on my make up this day wearing these shadows.. I hope you enjoy!

I did this look the other day while heading off to the mall. My mom was looking for a special ring my niece bought from Hot Topic. She is so cute, she saved up her money to buy the $16 ring. .. then a week later it broke. She was soooo upset. But Hot Topic being the cool company it is, replaced it for free!! It was so awesome.

I went to the movies the other night very late (12:00am) lol I had to work, and our friends who we double dated with came over, and one thing led to another .. we just talked and talked. lol and we missed two times we would have seen the movie lmao!

I just got this blouse from Target (which I love!) and knew right away I wanted to pair it with a hot red color. I also knew a nice smokey would look great to go with my hot lip color. The smokey color I patted on top I am in love with. It is made by Sigma makeup. I am quiet impressed.

Hey guys, so over the week and most likely all day Monday night I will be doing my blog. It took longer than usual because like I mentioned before our busiest time of graphics is like Oct-Feb14. Anyway, as some of you have noticed I am no longer blond! lol It was way to much upkeep and honestly my hair hated me for doing it. First of all, isn't my friend beautiful!! Uhhh can you say jealous much? lol her skin is flawless, I had to use no liquid foundation, just concealer, and a buff of powder. AND her brows! sooo nice! But ughhh.. good genes help! You should see her mother! she looks like 30 years old! I was fortunate to get long lashes but pores of comet holes lmao!! anyway...

As you all know, I do schedule appointments for makeup jobs for all types of events. My girl friend Brenda was going to a Holiday party for her work and wanted to look extra special.

She bought this dress ( But her's was sleeveless) from Torrid. It was so cute! So I wanted to pair of a hot Magenta lip to stick out from the black and white. I wanted to do more of a pink bright lip, then a red lip. I figured many girls would be doing a red lip, but I still wanted her to stand out. I still gave her the option to try both, but in the end we both knew the hot magenta lip was it! I also didn't want her to apply the lipstick (I'm wearing below) till she got there. I like to have my clients have a fresh lip, if they can when they show up to the event. So that's why we don't have a picture of her in the hot lip. I did the same look that day so I could have a try and fell in love with the colors I used on her.I also did her eyeshadow a light color to focus more on the hot lip.

Heavenly Naturals (Tulips inspired)

The other day Tulio, my mom and I were having dinner while watching a program on kteh. It was a beautiful documentary on Tulips. I know it sounds weird, but the history of the Tulip is quite remarkable. Anyway, during the show they showed various beautiful Tulips, and one was Lavender, Purples, and a deep plum color. Tulio said I had to try it out. I went straight to my Heavenly Naturals and this is what I came up with! I hope you like!

Christmas Tutorial feat. Momma G!! (Recreation)

I was so honored to have her do it, since I've been her fan & subscriber since she started doing Youtube tutorials. She is talented and has a beautiful family. As in my previous entry I noted both of my girlfriends @queenbchronicle and pictured here @ohuneymama came to my house on Saturday. I was so lucky to have two such willing participants! lmao.. Anyway, I love how this came out. I can't get over how beautiful Serayge really is. My girl looked beautiful and her eyeshadow was poppin! Here is my girl aka @queenbchronicle on twitter. My friend other friend @ohuneymama and @queenbchronicle came to my house on Saturday to just hang out and discuss some upcoming things for the holidays.

Exposed Organics Review & Swatches (Vegan & Affordable!)

I recently got the chance to try Exposed Organics. I am never paid for my honest reviews. I only received the products for my review.

I went to look at the site, and was surprised to see her wide range of products. After being fed up from companies with so-called "organic" items. They started from shampoo to lip gloss, all mixed and made from their own kitchen! I must say I was quite impressed with the pigmentation of the eye shadows for being Vegan!

I received 10 eye dusts and a eyeshadow transformer. If you have no clue what a eyeshadow transfer does lol well most don't, so don't feel bad! This product allows you to make any eye dust into a wet liner, or foiled lid. Foiled means to wet the shadow and apply it to make it more pigmented and vibrant. It can be tricky, so I only tend to do it with shadows I know will hold up well. These do! I also really like the applicator squeeze bottle it's in. It makes a difference, and helps control how much you would like to use. It works well with your make up brushes and applies easy.

Each eye dust color is as vibrant as it is in it's jar. I can't get over how much you get for only $4.99 I mean a whole 7 grams! Really a great deal and very affordable. I am always looking for great make up for those with tight budgets.. like myself! lol but all of them are very easy to apply. The only eye dust I can see having "personal" issues is the red matte pigment "Ruby's Secret". I always have issues with matte pigments, since they are tricky to apply. I do find however if you place on top of eyeshadow it makes the matte shadow apply easier. Just because I said it's not easy to apply, does not say that this shadow is not super pigmented and gorgeous.. because it is!

I have two looks I did this weekend with two friends who came over (pictured above). I used these eye dusts both wet & dry and they applied like a dream! They both were impressed with the colors, and kept looking at their lids! lol I will be posting next their eyeshadow looks!

Serayge, is a gorgeous mint green I've been looking for!! I swear I've been looking for a color like this.. and so glad I received it. Alexisescence is a gorgeous blue light violet color that has this iridescent duo tone that is sooo beautiful. You'll know how much I love iridescent eye shadows. Of of them are great and it's very hard to pick out my favorites. I'm sure you can see why!
